PUNJABI CHHOLE..!!! Good evening everyone...!!! Today i cooked punjabi chhole requested by my dear friend @kitchen_flavor_ . They tasted so well 😍😍 presentation is not so good though honestly😓😓 . Sharing the recipe in a simplified way with you all. . . Ingredients:- 250g kabuli chana 4 onion finely chopped 4 tomatoes finely chopped 1tbp ginger finely chopped 2 cloves of garlic 1tbp chillies finely chopped 2 bay leaves 1tsp jeera (cumin) I pinch of heeng (asafoetida) 1 badi elaichi (black cardamom) 4 laung (cloves) Daal cheeni 1tbp tea leaves 1tsp red chilli powder 1tbp chana masala (i prefer everest chana masala) Salt to taste Recipe:- • Soak kabuki chana overnight. • next day boil kabuli chana together with salt, badi ilaichi, daal cheeni, laung (cloves) and tea leaves in a potli (bundle) of muslin cloth. • take another pan and add ghee. In this add onion, garlic cloves, ginger, chillies and tomatoes and saute till soft. • let it cool for some minutes and grind. • now take another pan and add ghee, jeera (cumin), heeng (asafoetida), bay leaf, red chilli powder, chana masala and roast it. Also add the grinded mixture in it also. • roast it till the oil leave the pan. • now add boiled chana in it and mix well. • let it cook for 15-20 mins on sim. • garnish it with onion rings, ginger and chillies. • serve it with soft fulkas.
